Seminar to highlight influence of Latinos on Iowa’s economy
The Denison Cultural Diversity Committee, the Denison Minority Enterprise Council, and La Prensa newspaper are partnering to sponsor a seminar, “The Influence of Latinos on the Iowa Economy,” on Friday, November 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the meeting room at Denison Municipal Utilities, West Broadway and 7th Street.
The seminar will begin with a networking lunch at 11:30 a.m. followed by a presentation from Jimar Hernandez of Iowa State University.
All businesses are invited to attend.
The Chamber and Development Council is asking businesses to RSVP at 263-5621 in order to receive an accurate lunch count.
